陈文新《明代文学与科举文化生态》是2014年度国家社科基金后期资助项目成果，2016年由高等教育出版社出版，2018年获第十一届湖北省社会科学优秀成果奖一等奖，2020年获教育部第八届高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（人文社科）二等奖，入选2020年度国家社科基金中华学术外译项目原著。2023年底，经由福建师范大学王兵教授的翻译，其英文版《The Literature and Cultural Ecology of Imperial Examinations in the Ming Dynasty》在国际著名出版社施普林格•自然（Springer Nature）旗下的帕尔格雷夫•麦克米伦（Palgrave Macmillan）出版公司出版。近日，中国社会科学报英文版发表鲁小俊教授书评《Imperial Examination shaped Ming literary ecology》，向海外读者推介《The Literature and Cultural Ecology of Imperial Examinations in the Ming Dynasty》一书。
